Lammermuirs Road Race
Edinburgh RC hosts a new and demanding race over the Lammermuirs taking in the mighty Redstone Rigg (twice).

50 miles road race for cat 2/3/4/V/W/J. Separate prize list for each category. The strip is in Haddington 11:00am start. Course consists of 2.5 laps of the super 6 Gifford circuit followed by a longer loop climbing over Redstone Rigg to Longformacus, Ellemford, Cranshaws, to finish on second ascent of Redstone Rigg, giving a total race distance of 50 miles.
The race will have a prize fund for each category (one winner one prize) The route includes a steep climb, make sure your gears work ok in the big sprocket! The Longformacus/Ellemford/Cranshaws loop is on very rolling back road, with sheep and cattle grid hazards. Be aware at all times as this course includes some demanding climbs and descents. Obey the marshals' instructions.
Entries will be taken on first come first served basis, so do not delay !
