Lammermuirs RR
A demanding road race over the Lammermuirs taking in the mighty Redstone Rigg (climbing it from both sides).
The course consists of 3.5 laps of the Sup6r Six Gifford circuit followed by a longer loop climbing over Redstone Rigg to Longformacus, Ellemford, Cranshaws, to finish on second ascent of Redstone Rigg, giving a total race distance of 65 miles.
The route includes a steep climb, so make sure your gears work ok in the big sprocket! The Longformacus/Ellemford/Cranshaws loop is on very rolling back roads, with sheep and cattle grid hazards. Be aware at all times as this course includes some demanding climbs and descents.
