Glenkinchie TTT2

Edinburgh RC hosts a 2 up time trial over a testing route around the "famous Humbie" circuit (PDF course map and profile) that is often used in ESCA RRs and was also used by Team Caledonia for a TT for a numbers of years. It was used once again earlier this season by MRCC for a TT in April. However, the 2 up TT will start and finish close to the Glenkinchie Distillery to add a touch of variety to the event.
The event HQ will be based at the distillery and Glenkinchie have offered a free distillery tour to all riders and helpers after the event. A bottle of their finest malt has also been donated to the prize fund by the distillery. Prizes will include top five fastest times, first vet's team, first women's team, first mixed team, first junior team. One prize per team only.
The event is about 23 miles (i.e. 2 laps of the circuit) and open to all categories. The event starts at 12.00 on Saturday 25th September.
Closing date for entries is 20/09/2010 and the entry fee is £18 per team.
