Many thanks to Jonny and his band of helpers. It's not easy organising a 10 where half the field sign on at the start.

Thanks must also go to John McComisky for cheering us on the section after the Bridgeend climb, gave me a boost on a part of the course where I always feel like crap.

Well done to Olivier for knocking in a PB. We expect big things on Sunday now :)

Big congrats to the ERC ladies for a clean sweep of the podium, and to Ken Russell for going sub 22 after trying for quite a while.

Nice to see Paul Black coming back to his old stomping ground. Absence doesn't make it any easier :)

For my part, I'm over the moon to do a course best time, and go sub 25 for the first time in years.

Thanks to Jonny, the commissaires, marshalls and helpers.

No surprise the fast men were fast last night.

Well done Neil for your time: you're looking very strong this year.

Not too sure how much Aidan knows this course but sub 23' is really good.
It's a pity Oli Young couldn't race last night.

Last thing I wanted to mention is youth Patrick Galbraith on fix gear doing 23'44''
How does he do that ?  ;D

Next the Scottish champs Sunday.

Cheers.

Oli

Watched the 10 last night and was very impressed by the ERC riders as well as the rest of the ESCA entry, it was the first time I have watched as opposed to riding in the Kirky 10. The tortured expressions on the run up from Brigend say it all and everyone riding was really digging in.
The reason I was standing at the top of Brigend is that normally I am about to keel over when hacking up there and thought it a good spot for some encouragement!!!!!.

I must say a really top job by the Laingster, Neil does an awful lot to encourage the TT scene here amongst us rookies and his time was very impressive.

All the very best to all the ERC TT crew at the weekend.

Super rides from all ERC entrants last night and good to see so many of our women's squad taking part as well.A number of PB's were recorded last night.
Oli Young's in Canada and i'm sure will be flying for the British 10 Champs.

Well done to Jonny [and his team] for organising a super event and taking entries on the line.

What a terrific start to the season to have both the Men's [Ken] and  Women's [Jessica] ESCA 10 Champs.

Good luck to all who are racing in the Scottish 10 Champs on Sunday.

The course record is 21.51 by Ross Muir.
Evan Oliphant (21.53), and Ken Russell (21.55) are next.
