Sunday APR ride
« on: May 06, 2009, 04:54:11 AM »
Anyone up for the Colin's APR 26th May - we're checking out the course sun, and possibly weekly thereafter. All welcome, especially anyone who knows what the course actually is.
9am at the commie.

The course is almost identical to the Super Six Gifford route but starts and finishes near Haddington.

Colin's APR aka Edinburgh Spring Classic APR is on Thursday 28th May.

http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/site/BC/eve/eventsfuture.asp?evt_cp=1&evt_mode=1&evt_id=%7BE1350152-1EBA-455A-8925-51426D079365%7D&evt_seriesid=&evt_myevents=No&RefID=&RefType=&evt_month=0&evt_kw=spring+classic&evt_regions=All+Regions&evt_disc=&evt_class=&evt_cat=&evt_series=&evt_resultspp=20

As Scott has said the course is similar to the Gifford Sup6r Six but doesn't take the minor link road (straight on) after Cockle's Corner,. Instead it continues right almost into Haddington before turning left onto the B6368 to Bolton. (The finish line is about half a mile up this road - you should be able to see the line on the road.)
