Kirky 10 Last Week Re-Run

Due to the cancellation of the final week's event due to road works, it is planned to re-run the event on September 1st.

The road works are due to finish on Monday 30th August and I'll check with West Lothian Council on that date to confirm completion and then post an update in this thread.

I drove through Winchburgh on Saturday afternoon and the lights/roadworks where gone. Fingers crossed they don't reappear for Wednesday evening.

Latest Update

Unfortunately further works are scheduled to start in Winchburgh today (31st) and to finish on Thursday.  West Lothian Council weren't able to confirm whether or not there are temporary traffic lights, and even if there aren't today, there could be tomorrow.

With regret therefore, and unless anybody local has better first-hand info, I think that we'll have to cancel the re-run.

Drove the course this morning and there was no sign of roadworks....

B*ugger and apologies: I'd naively assumed that the combined knowledge of the Scottish Road Works Register and West Lothian Council would be able to give me accurate information about what was going in West Lothian. 

At this late stage though cancellation will have to stand.

Sorry to all, particularly as it looks like another good evening.  I'll post final results as soon as I get a chance.
