Crow road expedition
«

Im heading out with JMC Sunday to recce the Crow and the Campsies TT route. Our plan is to board the 9am train to Croy, go over the Crow, round the back of the Campsies to Killearn, back to Lennoxtown, over the Crow again (just to make sure it actually happened), turn left at the bottom and head for Denny and riding home through Falkirk etc. Or I might nip over the Tak to Kilsyth and catch a train again. This is a social ride, apart from the humongous steep climbs. 15 points for the first up the crow, 10 for climb before Strathblane - for the President of the Mountains (Im a republican).
Almost anyone welcome.

what's the plan if you don't make it up the Crow at the first attempt?

Call in to Wheelcraft at Clachan of Campsie and you might get a cup of coffee from Alistair just say Jim Welsh -Glasgow Thistle- sent you and that I`ll pay him back the 10 shillings I owe him from 1963 when I am through
in a couple of weeks.
