Congratulations to John McComisky and Davie Hamill on running one of the best 'cross races of the season. The Bo'ness course was a fantastic fast and flat course with only a couple of gluey sections.
A huge turnout of spectators and a full field.
'Cross racing is never easy but you can approach at your own level - after half a lap the field is always strung out and you can race against the riders round about you. In this respect it is much more inclusive and forgiving for the new rider and its not dependent on flash gear. I raced on a steel mountainbike with mtb tyres and a rigid cromo fork.
The races also have the best atmosphere and the best catering....

Thanks guys, you had a good ride on the MTB big guy, loved the big ring smashing up you gave the course. I am glad that the ERC guys that raced and spectated enjoyed the event, hopefully put on more at some point. Could I publically thank Ken Whitson who was invaluable on the day with the lap scorers and Jammi Johnstone who pulled it all together, great work guys.
