Kirkliston 9.5 No.2 (9/5/2012)
«

A very pleasant evening at Kirkliston with a very slight easterly wind. The numbers were slightly down on last week perhaps because of the ESCA 10 mile TT taking place near Peebles tonight.
My thanks to Andrew Bothwell for marshaling.

. Well done Colin - the only rider to beat the standard time for his age. If I've missed anyone then PM me with your age on 2 May 2012.

Update on the course is that the temporary lights are back in place again at the same spot, just before the new start. I did have an idea though to try and make it closer to a 10. Rather than finish on the opposite side of the road from the start you could carry on to the roundabout at the sports centre, go round it and finish a bit further up the road on the same side the start is to make the distance up. Just an idea. Actually a lot safer starting where you are just now as it avoids the bottleneck at the bus stop and having to negotiate the roundabout straight after starting
