Not really an event report.... But, surprised no one has picked up on Ayrton's fine placing...
Well done, 3rd overall was it? Finally some junior riders making it through to beating the seniors! And the Vets too....

It was a great ride by Ayrton on a tough course with lots of strong riders competing and lots dropping out.

Yes indeed Neil, the winner was Alain Ramirez who went to Paisley the next day to win the 4th cat race at the Scottish Crit Champs. Alain and the other basque exchange riders have now returned to the Basque Country just in time to catch the Vuelta.
