Results for Round 1 - Updated

Claire Thomas was the 1st lady over the line in the 'B' race.  After an initial spill Claire regrouped to finish 4 minutes clear in a testing 40 mile race. ERC also filled the rest of the podium with Joanne Meritt 2nd and Anne Ewing 3rd.

In the 'A' Race Rchard Garrett was the top ERC performer finishing 15th amongst Scotland's top riders, closely followed by Lee Whitlaw in 16th.

The 'B' event saw Ali Easton finish 6th and new recruit Tom Dyson in 8th. Mark Finlay and Ross Spence also produced top 20 results after an attacking race.  Oli Young was 3rd Junior after missing the initial split.

In the Team's Classification Edinburgh RC are a credible 4th in the 'A' Event and 2nd in the 'B' Event.

The Field & Lawn Marquee played host to 100's of supporters of this event and the Gifford town centre was a magnificent ampitheatre for the day's events to unfold.
