Attached is a volunteer registration form, this should be completed by anyone who volunteers in our sport in any capacity, coach, race organiser, committee member, event helper etc. I need you to complete and send this back to me. Don't worry you aren't signing up for anything and wont be bombarded with email etc. It will only take a couple of minutes. Some of you will have filled this in last year, if so, then please ignore this request.

British Triathlon operates a register of volunteers within the sport. This info is submitted to UK sport. Currently I submit the figure for the number of Volunteers in Scotland to Sport Scotland, this is an educated guess to be honest.

 However, the BT figure also includes Scotland now, as well as me reporting a figure to Sport Scotland. To date officially, we have around 70 registered volunteers on there system, which I know is incorrect! The form will just be a supporting doc to the figures submitted, we have to be seen to be doing more than guessing.

I would also appreciate it if you could pass this to other volunteers that you know in your club, training group, event team etc.

This will be a big help as it will be taken into consideration when funding applications are made by us.
