Claire Thomas was in action down south and picked up a 4th place in Sunday's road stage of the Bedford 2 Day. Claire was riding for composite team Impsport and eventually finished 9th overall.

Edinburgh RC were well represented in the 3rd round of the SuP6R Six Series with 16 riders taking the roads. Ross Spence and Colin May were the top riders in the 'B' race finsihing 8th and 9th respectively. Lee Whitelaw, Ross Crook and Adian McIlroy were the finishers in the 'A' race with only 31 riders completing a tough race.

Meanwhile Jessica Wilson-Young broke the 23min barrier in the Nelson Wheelers 10mile TT recording a 22:57 and the prize for 1st lady. The following day Jessica also broke the one hour mark in windy conditions setting a 58:57. She commented after the race that 'I'm sure Pippa and Claire would both agree with me that our cycling would never have improved so greatly without the coaching advice and support of Neil Muir'
