Ross McDonald Memorial Road Race

Another win for ERC.

Tim Blathwayte proved his strongman status by backing up from last weekends sucess and winning the Ross McDonald Memorial Road Race.  Ross McDonald was a promising Glenmarnock Wheelers rider who lost his life in tragic circumstances and the trophy was presented to Tim by Ross's family.

Tim formed a ten man break up the main climb of the day with team mates Colin May and Ross Spence.  The break stayed away for the remainder of the day until the sprint finish where Tim proved too strong and Colin was well placed in 3rd.  Ross Spence unfortunately dropped off the back in the later stages but remained in the top 10.
