Main committee re-elected, new treasurer & membership services convenor elected, subs to rise by £5

Many thanks to everyone who attended our AGM on Monday night.

The following committee members were all re-elected unopposed:

• President Ken Whitson
• Vice President Mark Finlay
• Chairman Simon Bullock
• General Secretary Jonny May
• Coaching Services Convenor Colin Russell
• Road/TT/Track Secretary Kevin Tait
• Off Road Coordinator Fiona Donaldson
• Triathlon Coordinator Peter Ness

We welcome the following new committee members:

• Treasurer Jen Lang
• Membership Services Coordinator Graham Jones

Rob Waller was appointed auditor.

After thorough debate it was approved that membership subscriptions would be increased:

• Full member - £20 per year
• 5 Year Membership - £80 (5 for the price of 4)
• Youth - Free
• Junior - Free
• Unwaged - £10 per year

The following, ammended, change to the club's constitution was approved:

• 7.2 “All monies of the Club shall be banked in the name of the Club. Payments in excess of £250 shall be payable on the signatures of two of the following:
  President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer.
  
  Payments of £250 or less, from an account with a liability not exceeding £1000, may be authorized by the Treasurer alone, but each payment must be notified to at least two of the following:
  President, Vice President, General Secretary.”

The AGM concluded with a discussion on ways to encourage all club members to volunteer. The committee will be taking these ideas forward.
