The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed and approved.
President’s report:
No ESCA meeting last month. Requested that all SCU Little Green Book errors be reported via ESCA for correction next time
VP report:
A further funding meeting with Martin Currie is to be held in the next 2 weeks. Artemis are being pursued as a possible sponsor
Secretary:
The club have been approached by Lucozade to hold a promo evening. After discussion it was agreed that this should coincide with the upcoming new members evening. Action CR to liaise with Lucozade rep and arrange.
Invitation to form a team to appear on the BBC show Eggheads declined.
Sydney cycling club website article on Bunch Etiquette discussed and agreed that a lot of good information could be used in a future ERC publication.
Ted Radford looking for drivers for the Lothian Flyer road race. Message sent to membership via mailing list.
Eastern Promise and Lammermuirs RR web pages need updating. Now done.
Agreed that Kirky 10TT series is not open to try for potential members before they join.
Do we need to register under the data protection act. Action MF to find out
Action JM to contact Ken Russell about mailing list abuse and suggest he posts a message directing people to the forum section for commercial adverts
Membership Services:
Action GJ to liaise with Gareth George on opening up ramp tests to ESCA members and making a claim for funding.
GJ to contact Oliver Brookes about free 5 year membership
Triathlon view of Membership database made available to Peter Ness and Alistair Crawford with the proviso that it was only to be used for their specific purpose – targeting triathletes.
Storage box for track equipment purchased and installed at Meadowbank. Oli del Corto & Paul Newnham are key holders. Email sent to members holding equipment to return to box.
Leisure wear web pages started.
Corex signs used at Nocturne were highly visible and should be used at future races where transporting them is possible. Possibly used next at the Lochore Triathlon
Magnetic car signs ordered
Handbook sent to printers
Website has been subject of external hackers recently. Ken Russell on the case with additional security measures.
Membership now over 400.
Team roof rack Thule bike holder failed. Future advice is to lock them whilst in transit.

McCulloch 10TT – numbers down on the night. Course record broken by Evan Oliphant (21:47) of Ploughman Craven, Ken Russell 2nd, Jessica Wilson-Young 1st women
Spring Classic APR – Full field on an excellent night. 4th James Whitworth, 5th Ewan Macgregor & 6th Alex Hilliam, 1st women Claire Thomas and 2nd vet Robert Bloor
British Eagle RR – Ali Easton 5th, Ross Crook 7th
SCU 10TT Champs – Jessica Wilson-Young 1st women, Claire Thomas 4th women. They won the team prize

Budget spend approaching £1700 initially agreed. Additional £500 sanctioned by the committee

First aid course for MTB leaders venue sought. Meadowbank suggested.
SC have offered to sponsor Ingliston 2010
Action: CR to speak to Gareth George about reminding riders on the Tuesday night club run that it is for members only
Club kit:
Newest items of club leisurewear presented – black beanie, bag, sweatshirt & black polo. First order has now been received by PD.
Rebranding of club logo and kit discussed and dropped
Sportive:
Action: SB to draft an email to membership for volunteers to run a club sportive.
AOCB:
Action: All to review 3 year plan for next meeting.
New members night to be held 22 June. Action GJ to email membership
