ERC Mountain Bike Skills Courses for 2010

Develop your mountainbike skills with courses at Glentress for novices, intermediate and advanced riders

Following on from last year's successful ERC mtb skills courses based at Glentress there will be a similar series of events during the summer months. Courses will be structured to suit either novice, intermediate or advanced riders and will cost around £35 for a full day's instruction.
To help you decide which course would suit you best assume that:
  1. Novice is geared to riders who are happy on simple tracks (eg Green graded trails at Glentress) but lack confidence/skill with trails involving rocks, roots or steeper terrain (eg Blue graded routes at Glentress)
  2. Intermediate is aimed at riders comfortable on the Glentress Red trails and wanting to improve their technique in line choice, cornering, body position, rock step ups and small drop offs.
  3. Advanced is suitable for riders keen to improve their skill level sufficiently to deal with unrollable drop offs, manuals and jumps – both taking off and landing.
To gauge numbers and choice of course would interested ERC members email Cliff White at mtbskills@276.org.uk with their Name, Course choice (Novice, Intermediate or Advanced) and email address
