Volunteers needed for Edinburgh Racing events
The next event in the Edinburgh Racing multi sport racing calendar is the Lochore Meadows Sprint Triathlon on June 20th. We need bike and run marshalls, help with set-up and take-down, registration, and more.
If you are racing that day or can't make it, then have a look at the other races we are putting on and drop us a line to sign up now or let us know when you've planned out your racing/summer calendar.
The fantastic deal at ERC is that if you do a spot of volunteering you get a massive 30% reduction on swim fees... the urgent one is Midlothian on 2nd May ... but other choices for you below as well. There's something for everyone.

While you plan your races, why don't you also plan your volunteering for the year ahead. We have 4 races we need volunteers for:
Midlothian on 2nd May- lovely local race, you could cycle out to Dalkeith so get a bit of training in on the way, and cheer your club mates as they go around this undulating and gentle Midlothian countryside after they emerge from their speedy stint in the pool.
Loch Ore on the 20th June. This one is slightly further away, over in Fife, in the great Loch Ore Meadows park. Open water this time so no chance for shelter, but you can spend the whole day in the bracing Scottish open air. Great kids playground and trails for any family you might want to bring with you.
Portobello Aquathon 26th September. This great event is part of the Scottish Aquathon Championship and the last race in that series. A kids race, a novice race and an open water event... the choice is yours! Come and spend the day at the seaside. Great cafe's and pubs for that after race spot of lunch.
You are welcome to volunteer family members or friends as well - if they are coming to support you they might as well be part of the action! You can e-mail us (addresses below) or find one of us at swimming/cycling/running.
