We need volunteers to help run this year's Bruce Sprint Triathlon at Lochore on Sunday 20th June! Come and help out at ERC's biggest event with over 300 participants.

The Lochore Meadows Triathlon is at full capacity with over 300 participants, and we need your help to make the event a big success!  The race is being held on June 20th, 2010 at Lochore Meadows Country Park, and race details can be found here.

The area we are lacking in volunteers at the moment is cycling marshals! Roadies, mountain bikers, track stars: come and support your club and cheer on the athletes by helping with the cycle course. This is also a big opportunity to promote the club to a wide grass-roots audience.

For you it will be a relaxing day in and around beautiful Lochore Meadows Country Park (Fife). Worried about getting training in? Bring your road bike and enjoy a ride on quiet undulating roads through Fife after the race.  Mountain biker? Great!  There are lovely mountain biking trails within the park including a skills area (see links below), so bring your bike along and rip through those trail from as early as 11am:

The volunteering commitment for cycling marshals will be from approximately 7:45am to 11am on Sunday morning, June 20th.

You'll also of course get your lovely piece of race schwag (ultra special towel), food and drinks, and that special feeling from doing your good turn for the day :) It's also a good opportunity to socialize and meet some fellow club members!  There is a great little cafe which will be right by transition/finish, and there is a kids play area just outside in the park.
