A busy weekend on the road with the Scottish Circuit Race Championships, the Scottish Team Time Trial Championships and the Ivy CC Veterans and Ladies RR all taking place.

The action started on Saturday in Renfrewshire where Jo Merritt and and Jenny Stanning took a superb 2^nd and 3^rd respectively in the Women’s Circuit Race.

Next up was the Team Trial Champs on Sunday at Irvine where Jo, along with team-mates Penny Rother and Jen Lang, stepped on to the podium once again to take the Silver Medal in the Women’s Championships. Just behind in Bronze Medal position were Jessica Wilson-Young, Karen Breneman, and Teri Wishart to complete an excellent day’s work for the ERC ladies.

In the Men’s Competition, Ken Russell, Aidan McIlroy, Calum MacLean and Neil Taylor finished a creditable 9^th against some top-notch competition.

Meanwhile, over at a very damp Balfron, Georges Avraam, Oliver Brookes, and Rob Bloor put in terrific rides to finish 2^nd, 4^th & 10^th in the 50+ Category of the Ivy CC Over 50s & Ladies Race. In the Ladies Category, Jenny Stanning still had enough in the legs to take 4^th despite her efforts of the day before.
