Kirsty Smashes 500m Record

ERC's Kirsty Johnson set a new Scottish record for A Girls 500m standing start at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales, Newport, during the Youth and Junior track championships. At 37.878 seconds, she knocked almost a second off Kayleigh Brogan's record of 38.77 (from 2007). This is her first year as a Youth A so will be eligible to return next year and improve on her 5th place in the event.
