COACHING OPPORTUNITY 14-16 YEAR OLDS

Edinburgh Road Club are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for members aged between 14-16 years. This will let you become a coach which is ideal for your personal development (think DoE, CV, or university application), to put something back or even if you’re not interested in racing but want to stay with the club.
In 2020 we will be arranging a UKCC Level 1 Foundations of Coaching Cycling course for girls and boys. This will let you pass on your own bike skills to club members at any of our three Go Ride venues. The Level 1 course will provide a strong base for anyone looking to develop their own biking ability, in addition to the development of their own leadership, communication and organisational skills. As one of the coaching team you could determine what we do and how we do it, we’d appreciate your inputs and youthful enthusiasm.
These courses are normally only open to those 16 years and older so this an amazing opportunity to start early.
