Free sport and fitness courses from the OU

While we are all in lockdown, we may find that we have a bit more time on our hands, which can be a great chance to learn something new. The Open University has a free online platform called OpenLearn that has over a thousand free short courses, including some that would be perfect for our members, such as;

  1. Exploring the psychological aspects of sport injury
  2. Learning from sport burnout and overtraining
  3. The science of nutrition and healthy eating
  4. Communication and working relationships in sport and fitness
  5. Exploring sport coaching and psychology
  6. The science behind wheeled sports
  7. Working with young people in sport and exercise

There are also lots of activities that are great for kids, for those looking for things to keep them busy during these trying times.
