ERC Hill Climb

The club hill climb is on this year!

The event will take place at 10 am on the 11th of October and will be tackling the Fa'side Castle climb. The event will be a CTT "B" event, similar to the midweek time trial so will be open to members of other CTT affiliated clubs. The entry fee will be £5 (£3 for juniors and youths) and will be taken as online payment via our LoveAdmin registration system. The link for ERC members and other club members to register will be put up shortly.

We will be following CTT's guidance on limiting COVID transmission, so riders will not be held up at the start, and will not be allowed to move towards the start line until 2 minutes before their start time. There will be hand sanitiser available and this must be used before signing on. There will also not be race numbers - riders will need to remember their number and shout to the finish timekeeper - like back in the day. Results will not be announced at the event but posted online after the event. Riders will also be directed to descend down the hill towards Tranent, and not back towards the start.

While this is all different from a normal hill climb, we are super excited to be putting on this event and getting a bit of racing in at the end of the year.
